Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them Movie Review

 

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is a magical fantasy movie directed by David Yates. It is written and produced by J. K. Rowling.


The movie has a lot of extraordinary magical creatures like Nifflers, Murtlap, Thunderbird and many more which will make the movie fun and exciting for animal lovers.


Many of the places and characters of Fantastic Beasts and Harry Potter are related like both, Harry and Newt have studied in Hogwarts: School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Therefore, the movie will be a blast for Harry Potter fans.


 In many movies one gets bored after half of the movie is over but this movie is a lot more interesting and we don’t get bored while watching it.


Newt Scamander arrives at New York city. There are strange and dangerous disasters happening in the city which makes Mary Lou Barebone, a No- Maj conclude that witches and wizards are harmful.


 In the attempt of recapturing his Niffler Newt meets Jacob Kowalski, a No- Maj who sees things he shouldn’t have had seen being a No-Maj. They absentmindedly swap their suitcases, one containing bakery items and the other containing magical creatures. Tina Goldstein, a dismissed Auror arrests Newt for breaking magical law. But to her disappointment he is released.


 At Jacob’s house the suitcase flings open releasing several creatures. He is bit by a Murtlap which makes a great havoc in the building. Tina and Newt reach there, Tina takes the suitcase and both of them to her house and introduces them to her legilimens sister, Queenie Goldstien.  At night Newt takes Jacob inside his suitcase which opens into a large place with magical creatures and an obscurus.


On the way to the Central Park they recapture the Niffler and in the Central Park recapture one of the three lost creatures. Tina hands over the suitcase to MACUSA but Newt, Jacob and Tina are arrested. Percival Graves blames one of Newt’s creatures for the strange disasters happening in the city and accuses him of conspiring with Gellert Grindelwald. They decide that Jacob’s memory will be wiped and Tina and Newt are sentenced to death. But with the aid of two of Newt’s creatures they escape and with Queenie’s help the three of them leave the headquarters.


 Percival Graves meets Credence the adopted son of Mary Lou Barebone and offers to free him from her and teach him magic if he finds the obscurus for him. After a series of incidences Graves concludes that Modesty, another adopted daughter of Mary Lou Barebone is the obscurus and regards Credence as a squib. This angers Credence and he reveals himself as the obscurus.


 With a tip from Gnarlack, a goblin informant they reach the last lost creature. But to their astonishment there are two creatures on loose. With great difficulty they recapture them.


 But their adventures weren’t over yet. Credence could not control himself and being the obscurus wreaks havoc in the city.


 How will Tina and Newt stop credence and save him from being attacked by the MACUSA? Is Gellert Grindelwald between them? Will Jacob’s memory be wiped?

   Matilda is a young five and a half year old girl who is knocking off double-digit multiplication problems and is reading Dickens. She is brilliant, she has learnt to read at a very early age. She has extraordinary love for books and by the age of four she has read all the children’s books in her local library. Matilda joins school late as Matilda’s parents weren’t very concerned about their daughter’s education. It is not until she joins school and meets Miss Jennifer Honey with whom she develops a bond and her headmistress, a very cruel and unkind soul that Matilda realizes that she has some extraordinary and powerful tricks up her sleeve.
